Subsection 6: Rights of data subjects

The residence permit or travel document is accompanied by a paper copy of the personal data recorded in the electronic component provided for in articles R. 414-5 and R. 431-1. With regard to the fingerprints collected, this copy only includes an indication of the number and nature of the fingerprints recorded in the electronic component.

The rights of information, access, rectification and limitation of data shall be exercised under the conditions laid down respectively in Articles 13, 15, 16 and 18 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of 27 April 2016 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC: >The rights of information, access, rectification and limitation of data shall…

In accordance with Article 23 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of 27 April 2016 and in order to guarantee the right of residence of legal residents and to combat the illegal entry and residence of foreigners, the right to object does not apply to this processing.
