Section 1: Restrictive competition practices

When the Minister responsible for the Economy or the Chairman of the Competition Authority exercises the action provided for by Article L. 442-4 and the related remedies, he is exempted from representation by a lawyer.

For the application of III of Article L. 442-4, the seat and jurisdiction of the commercial courts with jurisdiction in mainland France and the overseas departments are set in accordance with the table in Appendix 4-2-1 of this book. The Court of Appeal with jurisdiction to hear decisions handed down by these courts is that of Paris.
