Section 3: Representation of platforms using self-employed workers

The representativeness, at the level of the sector in question, of professional organisations of platforms is determined on the basis of the following cumulative criteria: 1° Respect for republican values; 2° Independence; 3° Financial transparency. In order to establish their representativeness pursuant to this section, the organisations referred to in Article L. 7343-21 shall submit their applications to the Autorité des relations sociales des plateformes d’emploi referred to in Article L. 7345-1. The Director General of the Autorité des relations sociales des plateformes d’emploi shall carry out the necessary checks on the platforms to verify compliance with the criteria defined in Article L. 7343-22 ….

The list of organisations referred to in Article L. 7343-21 recognised as representative of the sectors referred to in Article L. 7343-1 is drawn up, on behalf of the State, by the Director General of the Autorité des relations sociales des plateformes d’emploi, after obtaining the opinion of its Board of Directors.

A decree in the Council of State shall define the terms and conditions for the application of this sub-section, in particular with regard to the exercise of its powers by the Director General of the Employment Platforms Social Relations Authority.
