The pathway to integration through economic activity enables unemployed people experiencing particular social and professional difficulties to benefit from work contracts as well as specific reception and support, which may include training, with a view to facilitating their professional integration.

A pathway to integration through economic activity may be prescribed to any person declared eligible, under the conditions set out in sub-section 2 of this section, by one of the prescribers mentioned in the second paragraph of article L. 5132-3 or by one of the structures for integration through economic activity mentioned in article L. 5132-4. The prescription for a route is valid for up to twenty-four months from the date of issue of the receipt referred to in the last paragraph of article R. 5132-1-6.

The prescription of a pathway is suspended when the work contract within a structure mentioned in article L. 5132-4 is suspended for more than 15 days, broken or terminated.
