Permanently-appointed hospital doctors, odontologists and pharmacists form a single body of hospital practitioners in all medical, biological, pharmaceutical and odontological disciplines and their specialities. They shall bear the title of hospital doctor, surgeon, psychiatrist, specialist, biologist, pharmacist or odontologist. The provisions of this section apply to hospital pharmacists with the exception of articles R. 6152-60 and R. 6152-61.

The job profile drawn up in application of the first paragraph of article R. 6152-6 may stipulate that hospital practitioners, appointed in one establishment, carry out their duties in several establishments mentioned in article R. 6152-1.
