On presentation of their invitation, union representatives are granted leave of absence when they are called upon to sit on the Board of Governors or when they take part in working meetings convened by the administration. In addition to travel time, the period of leave includes time equal to twice the foreseeable duration of the meeting, to enable the persons concerned to prepare and report on the proceedings.

The staff mentioned in article R. 6156-3 of this code are entitled to union training leave with pay for a maximum of 5 working days per year.
