When the ballot takes place by post, the ballot papers, envelopes and supporting documents are produced by the administration at its own expense. Only electoral material supplied by the administration may be used. Each ballot paper is placed in a double envelope. The inner envelope must bear no words or distinctive signs. For each section, the polling station records the total number of voters and determines the total number of valid votes cast and the number of votes obtained by each list. A report of the electoral operations is drawn up by the polling station and immediately sent to the Director General of the Centre National de Gestion and to the agents authorised to represent the lists of candidates.

Without prejudice to the provisions of the last paragraph of I of article 9 bis of the aforementioned law of 13 July 1983, any disputes regarding the validity of the electoral operations shall be referred, within five days of the announcement of the results, to the Director General of the National Management Centre and then, if necessary, to the administrative courts.

A staff representative who, during his/her term of office, no longer fulfils the conditions laid down in article R. 6152-322 for sitting on the section for which he/she was elected or has been dismissed shall automatically cease to be a member of the Disciplinary Board.
