Paragraph 1: Common provisions

The general organisation, equipment and premises of the authorisation holder are appropriate to the nature and volume of the services provided.

A psychiatrist is available on site or on call, with response times compatible with the safety of care.

Part-time stays are organised in dedicated premises and with dedicated equipment. The medical and paramedical team can be pooled with staff from nearby full-time hospital units who have been trained in part-time care.

The medical and nursing project for prison health facilities is drawn up as part of the medical project for the institution to which they are attached.

The authorisation holder organises a multi-annual skills development plan for its professionals, tailored to the populations it cares for.

The authorisation holder has the equipment needed to provide telehealth services.

To ensure that electroconvulsive therapy procedures are carried out, the authorisation holder guarantees: 1° Patient access to anaesthesia and post-intervention monitoring under the conditions defined in articles D. 6124-91 to D. 6124-103 ; 2° The procedure is carried out by a psychiatrist with proven training or experience in the practice of electroconvulsive therapy.

The authorisation holder ensures that data from professional practices is collected and analysed with a view to improving practices and managing risks.
