Subsection 4: Allocation of sums entered in the automatic audiovisual production account

Production companies have the option of investing the sums entered in their automatic audiovisual production account for the production and preparation of audiovisual works that belong to one of the following genres:1° Fiction;2° Animation;3° Creative documentary;4° Audiovisual adaptation of a live performance.

Creative documentaries must, as far as the investment for production is concerned, be financed by an hourly cash contribution from one or more television service publishers or by an hourly cash contribution from one or more on-demand audiovisual media service publishers, meeting the conditions laid down in 1° or 2° of Article 311-8, greater than or equal to €12,000.
