Subsection 7: Miscellaneous provisions

For works belonging to the genre of audiovisual adaptation of a live performance involving exceptional groupings of artists for a particular performance or consisting of the compilation of extracts from several live performances, automatic financial assistance shall be awarded after consulting the specialised committee responsible for awarding selective grants, in order to ensure the heritage vocation of these works.Automatic financial assistance may only be awarded for a single audiovisual adaptation…

In the event of a dispute or difficulty of interpretation as to whether an audiovisual work belongs to a particular genre, the President of the Centre national du cinéma et de l’image animée may consult the specialised committee responsible for awarding selective grants.
