Subsection 2: Award procedure and conditions

The decision to award aid is taken after consultation with the Commission for Aid to Innovation in Fiction.

Beneficiaries of aid have ten months from the date of the decision to grant aid to submit the developed version of the project to the Centre national du cinéma et de l’image animée.In exceptional circumstances and at the reasoned request of the beneficiaries, the aforementioned deadline may be extended for a period not exceeding six months, by decision of the President of the Centre national du cinéma et de l’image…

The aid is awarded in the form of a grant.The amount of aid is set at €50,000.

The grant is paid as follows: – 75% at the time of the award decision;– 25% after submission to the Centre national du cinéma et de l’image animée of the developed version of the project and proof of expenses incurred. Payment is made to the authors in accordance with the agreements between them.
