Subsection 1: Purpose and eligibility criteria

Selective financial aid is awarded for the rewriting of a new version of an audiovisual work project, known as the “reworked version”, jointly to the authors and their collaborators responsible for helping to prepare the rewriting work.

To be eligible for rewriting grants, authors and their collaborators must be French nationals or equivalent.

The authors must have proven artistic experience or training within the meaning of articles 312-5 to 312-7. If there is more than one author, at least one of them must provide proof of this artistic experience or training. Rewriting grants are awarded for the following audiovisual projects:1° Fiction projects, either in the form of single programmes with a planned running time of at least 60 minutes, or in the form of series;2° Animation projects, either in the form of single programmes with a planned running time of at least 8 minutes, or in the form of series.

Rewriting grants are only awarded for projects conceived and written entirely or mainly in French or in a regional language used in France.
