Production companies must:1° Have signed an audiovisual production contract with one or more authors or, where the work belongs to the animation genre, jointly with one or more literary authors and one or more graphic authors;2° Make a personal contribution to financing the development of the audiovisual work project by making a cash contribution equal to at least 20% of the amount of aid awarded.

Project development grants are awarded for the following audiovisual work projects:1° Fiction projects either in the form of single programmes with a planned minimum running time of 60 minutes, or in the form of series;2° Animation projects either in the form of single programmes with a planned minimum running time of 8 minutes, or in the form of series.
