Selective financial aid is awarded to production companies for the initial filming and pre-editing of a creative documentary, particularly with a view to seeking funding.
To qualify for enhanced development aid, production companies must meet the conditions set out in articles 421-13 and 421-14.
Support for enhanced development will not be granted for projects that are the subject of a contract for the purchase of broadcasting rights by a television service publisher on the date they are examined by the Commission des aides à l’innovation en documentaire.
