Section 7: Advisory Committee

The Images of Diversity Commission is made up of thirteen members, including a chairman and two vice-chairmen, chosen for their expertise in the fields of cinematographic, audiovisual and multimedia creation and distribution, and for their knowledge of the situation in priority urban neighbourhoods. The Commission is made up of two colleges sitting separately.The first college comprises the Chairman, a Vice-Chairman and five other members. It is responsible for examining applications for writing and development grants.The second college comprises the chairman, a vice-chairman and five other members. It is responsible for examining applications for support for video production, distribution and publishing.

The Chairman of the Centre national du cinéma et de l’image animée draws up a list of readers after consulting the administrative authority responsible for implementing State policy on sustainable development and territorial cohesion.The reading committees are made up of readers chosen from this list or members of the relevant college.The agenda for meetings and the composition of each committee are set by the Commission secretariat.
