Subsection 3: Allocation of sums held in the automatic foreign promotion account

The sums entered in the automatic foreign promotion account may be invested either in the foreign promotion of specific cinematographic works or in the foreign promotion of the companies’ catalogue of cinematographic works mentioned in 1° to 5° of article 721-6.

The sums entered in the automatic promotion abroad account may be invested to cover the following expenses, relating to cinematographic works mentioned in 1° to 5° of article 721-6, provided that they are directly allocated to the promotion abroad of these works, excluding operating expenses specific to the foreign sales company:1° Translation of scripts;2° Dubbing and/or subtitling of a cinematographic work;3° Manufacture of demonstration media;4° Design, manufacture and distribution of…

Sums held in the automatic foreign promotion account may also be invested to acquire the foreign exploitation rights to cinematographic works mentioned in 1°, 2° and 3° of article 721-6.
