Article 1049 of the French General Tax Code

Except where it takes the place of registration duties under article 664, the land registration tax is not levied on deeds published with a view to the application of legislation on low-rent housing.

Sauf lorsqu’elle tient lieu des droits d’enregistrement en vertu de l’article 664, la taxe de publicité foncière n’est pas perçue sur les actes publiés en vue de l’application de la législation sur les habitations à loyer modéré.
