Article 1251 of the French Code of civil procedure

The public prosecutor who receives the declaration for the purposes of safeguarding justice provided for by article L. 3211-6of the Public Health Code or the decision of the guardianship judge provided for in Article 1249 mentions them on a register specially kept for this purpose.

The declaration for the purpose of terminating the safeguard, the decision of the guardianship judge terminating the safeguard as well as the striking off are entered in the margin of the initial entry.

The declarations for renewal are entered on their date in the register.

Le procureur de la République qui reçoit la déclaration aux fins de sauvegarde de justice prévue par l’article L. 3211-6 du code de la santé publique ou la décision du juge des tutelles prévue à l’article 1249 les mentionne sur un répertoire spécialement tenu à cet effet.

La déclaration aux fins de faire cesser la sauvegarde, la décision du juge des tutelles mettant fin à celle-ci ainsi que les radiations sont portées en marge de la mention initiale.

Les déclarations en renouvellement sont portées à leur date sur le répertoire.
