Article 1336 of the French Code of civil procedure

The claims of the accepting heir up to the amount of the net assets against the estate are brought against the other heirs. If there are none or if the actions are brought by all the heirs, they are brought against a curator appointed in the same manner as that provided for the curator of the vacant estate.

Les demandes de l’héritier acceptant à concurrence de l’actif net contre la succession sont formées contre les autres héritiers. S’il n’y en a pas ou si les actions sont intentées par tous les héritiers, elles le sont contre un curateur nommé dans les mêmes formes que celles prévues pour le curateur de la succession vacante.
