Article 1337 of the French Code of civil procedure

At the end of the fifteen-month period provided for in Article 792 of the Civil Code, after either the payment of all declared creditors or the exhaustion of the assets and the allocation of the corresponding sums to the payment of the creditors, the heir or the notary responsible for settling the estate deposits the administration’s account at the registry.

The deposit gives rise to publicity under the conditions provided for in Article 1335.

Article 1337

A l’issue du délai de quinze mois prévu à l’article 792 du code civil, après soit le désintéressement de tous les créanciers déclarés, soit l’épuisement de l’actif et l’affectation des sommes correspondantes au paiement des créanciers, l’héritier ou le notaire chargé du règlement de la succession dépose au greffe le compte de l’administration.

Le dépôt donne lieu à publicité dans les conditions prévues à l’article 1335.
