Article 1546-1 of the French Code of civil procedure

The parties may enter into a participatory procedure agreement for the purposes of readiness to proceed at any time during the proceedings.

The parties may, at any time, expressly waive the right to rely on any plea in bar, any procedural exception and the provisions of Article 47, with the exception of those that arise or are revealed subsequent to the signing of the participatory procedure agreement.

Where the parties and their lawyers provide evidence that they have entered into a participatory procedure agreement for the purposes of preparing the case for trial, the judge may, at their request, set the date for the hearing to close the case and the date for the hearing of the pleadings. He shall postpone consideration of the case until the first aforementioned hearing. In the absence of a request to this effect, the judge shall order the case to be withdrawn from the roll.

Article 1546-1
