Article 1704 of the French General Tax Code

1. The receipt of registration shall be put on the registered deed or on the extract of the declaration of the new possessor.

It shall express in full the date of registration, the folio of the register, the number and the sum of the duties collected.

Where the deed contains several provisions each operating a particular duty, the competent officer shall indicate them summarily in his receipt and shall distinctly state therein the proportion of each duty collected.

3. Where formalities other than the merged formality are involved, the receipt for the land registration tax shall be placed at the foot of the extracts, copies, slips or certificates issued or handed over by the department responsible for land registration; each sum shall be mentioned separately thereon, and the total shall be entered in full.

1. La quittance de l’enregistrement est mise sur l’acte enregistré ou sur l’extrait de la déclaration du nouveau possesseur.

Il y est exprimé en toutes lettres la date de l’enregistrement, le folio du registre, le numéro et la somme des droits perçus.

Lorsque l’acte renferme plusieurs dispositions opérant chacune un droit particulier, l’agent compétent les indique sommairement dans sa quittance et y énonce distinctement la quotité de chaque droit perçu.

3. Lorsqu’il s’agit de formalités autres que la formalité fusionnée, la quittance de la taxe de publicité foncière est mise au pied des extraits, expéditions, copies, bordereaux ou certificats remis ou délivrés par le service chargé de la publicité foncière ; chaque somme y est mentionnée séparément, et le total est inscrit en toutes lettres.
