Article 1926 of the French Civil Code

If the deposit has been made by a capable person to a person who is not capable, the person who made the deposit has only the action for revendication of the thing deposited, so long as it exists in the hand of the depositary, or an action for restitution to the extent of what has turned to the benefit of the latter.

Si le dépôt a été fait par une personne capable à une personne qui ne l’est pas, la personne qui a fait le dépôt n’a que l’action en revendication de la chose déposée, tant qu’elle existe dans la main du dépositaire, ou action en restitution jusqu’à concurrence de ce qui a tourné au profit de ce dernier.
