I.-Feature-length cinematographic works must obtain at least 25 points out of 100.
A derogation may be granted by the President of the Centre national du cinéma et de l’image animée for foreign-initiated feature-length cinematographic works, after consulting the approval committee, in the following circumstances and according to the following procedures:
1° When, for justified artistic or technical reasons, the conditions of production prevent the minimum number of points provided for in the first paragraph from being obtained, on condition that the number of points obtained is at least equal to 20;
2° When the cinematographic works are produced as part of an international co-production with production companies established in a country whose film industry is fragile, on condition that the number of points obtained is at least equal to 15. The list of these countries is drawn up by decision of the President of the Centre national du cinéma et de l’image animée.
II.To determine the number of points provided for in I:
1° Points in the group mentioned in I of articles 211-10 and 211-11;
2° Where applicable, the number of points is rounded to the nearest number; the fraction equal to 0.5 is counted as 1.
III.-.The provisions of this article do not apply to cinematographic works produced as part of a financial co-production.
