Article 211-69 of the French Cinema and Moving Image Code

The investment is subject to the issue of a specific investment authorisation, taking into account the sums available on the automatic cinema production account of production companies that are subsidiaries of the production company applying for the investment or on the automatic cinema production account of production companies whose partners or majority shareholders are common to that company.
In the event that an initial investment is requested in application of the second sentence of 4° of Article 211-66, it is subject to an initial authorisation. Any additional investment that meets the conditions set out in this sub-paragraph will be subject to a second authorisation.

Article 211-69

L’investissement est subordonné à la délivrance d’une autorisation d’investissement spécifique, en tenant compte des sommes disponibles sur le compte automatique production cinéma des entreprises de production filiales de l’entreprise de production sollicitant l’investissement ou sur le compte automatique production cinéma des entreprises de production dont les associés ou actionnaires majoritaires sont communs à cette entreprise.
Dans le cas où un premier investissement est demandé en application de la seconde phrase du 4° de l’article 211-66, il fait l’objet d’une autorisation initiale. L’investissement complémentaire, répondant aux conditions prévues au présent sous-paragraphe, donne lieu à la délivrance d’une seconde autorisation.
