Article 211-77 of the French Cinema and Moving Image Code

In order to promote equal access for women and men to the management of production companies and to key positions in creation and production, direct allocations are awarded in addition to the sums invested by delegated production companies for the production of French-initiative feature-length cinematographic works in the fiction, animation and documentary genres.
For the award of direct allocations concerning cinematographic works in the fiction genre, a scale of ten points is established.
For the allocation of direct subsidies for cinematographic works belonging to the animation genre, a scale of fourteen points is established for those produced in two dimensions and a scale of sixteen points is established for those produced in three dimensions or in volume.
For the allocation of direct subsidies for cinematographic works belonging to the documentary genre, a scale of eight points is established.

Afin de favoriser l’égal accès des femmes et des hommes à la direction des entreprises de production et aux postes clés de la création et de la production, des allocations directes sont attribuées en complément des sommes investies par les entreprises de production déléguées pour la production d’œuvres cinématographiques de longue durée d’initiative française appartenant aux genres fiction, animation et documentaire.
Pour l’attribution des allocations directes concernant les œuvres cinématographiques appartenant au genre fiction, un barème de dix points est établi.
Pour l’attribution des allocations directes concernant les œuvres cinématographiques appartenant au genre animation, un barème de quatorze points est établi pour celles réalisées en deux dimensions et un barème de seize points est établi pour celles réalisées en trois dimensions ou en volume.
Pour l’attribution des allocations directes concernant les œuvres cinématographiques appartenant au genre documentaire, un barème de huit points est établi.
