To be eligible for screenwriting grants, authors must, depending on the case :
1° When writing a first screenplay, provide evidence of having written, in the ten years preceding the year of application, either two short cinematographic works, or two audiovisual works of a duration of twenty-six minutes or more, or one audiovisual work of a duration of ninety minutes or more, or one short cinematographic work and one audiovisual work of a duration of twenty-six minutes or more.
These works must meet the following conditions:
a) Short cinematographic works must have been selected in a festival (category 1) mentioned in the list annexed to this book or have been awarded production aid after completion;
b) The audiovisual works must belong to the fiction, animation or creative documentary genre and have been broadcast on a television service;
2° When the writing concerns a screenplay that is not the author’s first screenplay, provide proof of having written at least one feature-length film screened in cinemas.
