Article 232-22 of the French Cinema and Moving Image Code

The total sums allocated may not exceed 90% of the total cost of the work, investment or training carried out or to be carried out.
If the total sums allocated are less than the aforementioned ceiling, a new application for the work, investment or training carried out or to be carried out which could not be taken into account may be submitted at a later date provided that the advance previously allocated has been fully amortised.
The sums allocated are then determined, within the limit provided for in the first paragraph, with regard to the sums entered in the automatic cinema exhibition account and any advances allocated.

Article 232-22

La totalité des sommes allouées ne peut excéder 90 % du coût total des travaux, investissements ou formations exécutés ou à exécuter.
Dans le cas où la totalité des sommes allouées est inférieure au plafond précité, une nouvelle demande pour les travaux, investissements ou formations exécutés ou à exécuter qui n’ont pas pu être pris en compte peut être présentée ultérieurement dès lors que l’avance précédemment attribuée a été complètement amortie.
Les sommes allouées sont alors déterminées, dans la limite prévue au premier alinéa, au regard des sommes inscrites sur le compte automatique exploitation cinéma et des avances éventuellement attribuées.
