If the defendant denies or ignores the writing, the procedure shall be as set out in Articles 287 to 295.

The same applies where the defendant who has not been summoned in person fails to appear.

Si le défendeur dénie ou méconnaît l’écriture, il est procédé comme il est dit aux articles 287 à 295.

Il en est de même lorsque le défendeur qui n’a pas été cité à personne ne comparaît pas.
