Article 300 of the French Code of civil procedure

If a private document is alleged to be false as a principal claim, the summons shall state the grounds of falsity and summon the defendant to declare whether or not he intends to make use of the document alleged to be false or falsified.

Si un écrit sous seing privé est argué faux à titre principal, l’assignation indique les moyens de faux et fait sommation au défendeur de déclarer s’il entend ou non faire usage de l’acte prétendu faux ou falsifié.
