Article 311-65 of the French Cinema and Moving Image Code

Advances may be granted to production companies which, either in respect of audiovisual works they have previously produced during the current year, or in respect of new audiovisual works for which they have undertaken production, have exhausted their automatic audiovisual production account.
These advances may only be granted on condition that the sums available in the automatic audiovisual production account at the beginning of the current year do not exceed €10,700,000.

Des avances peuvent être attribuées aux entreprises de production qui, soit au titre des œuvres audiovisuelles qu’elles ont antérieurement produites durant l’année en cours, soit au titre des œuvres audiovisuelles nouvelles dont elles engagent la production, ont épuisé leur compte automatique production audiovisuelle.
Ces avances ne peuvent être attribuées qu’à condition que les sommes disponibles sur le compte automatique production audiovisuelle au début de l’année en cours n’excèdent pas 10 700 000 €.
