Article 321-14 of the French Cinema and Moving Image Code

The beneficiary or beneficiaries of a writing grant have a period of twelve months from the signing of the agreement to provide the Centre national du cinéma et de l’image animée with proof that the project has been written.
In exceptional circumstances, and at the reasoned request of the beneficiary or beneficiaries, the aforementioned period may be extended for a period not exceeding twelve months, by decision of the President of the Centre national du cinéma et de l’image animée.

Article 321-14

Le ou les bénéficiaires d’une aide à l’écriture disposent d’un délai de douze mois à compter de la signature de la convention pour remettre au Centre national du cinéma et de l’image animée les justificatifs de l’écriture du projet.
A titre exceptionnel, et sur demande motivée du ou des bénéficiaires, le délai précité peut être prolongé d’une durée qui ne peut excéder douze mois, par décision du président du Centre national du cinéma et de l’image animée.
