Placement with a view to full adoption precludes any return of the child to his or her family of origin. It defeats any declaration of filiation and any recognition.

If the placement with a view to adoption ceases or if the court refuses to grant the adoption, the effects of this placement are retroactively resolved.

Le placement en vue de l’adoption plénière fait obstacle à toute restitution de l’enfant à sa famille d’origine. Il fait échec à toute déclaration de filiation et à toute reconnaissance.

Si le placement en vue de l’adoption cesse ou si le tribunal refuse de prononcer l’adoption, les effets de ce placement sont rétroactivement résolus.
