Article 504 of the French Code of civil procedure

Proof of enforceability arises from the judgment where it is not subject to any suspensive appeal or is provisionally enforceable.

In other cases, this proof results from:

– either the acquiescence of the convicted party;

– or from notification of the decision and a certificate making it possible to establish, by reconciliation with this notification, the absence, within the time limit, of an opposition, an appeal, or an appeal in cassation where the appeal has suspensive effect.

La preuve du caractère exécutoire ressort du jugement lorsque celui-ci n’est susceptible d’aucun recours suspensif ou qu’il bénéficie de l’exécution provisoire.

Dans les autres cas, cette preuve résulte :

– soit de l’acquiescement de la partie condamnée ;

– soit de la notification de la décision et d’un certificat permettant d’établir, par rapprochement avec cette notification, l’absence, dans le délai, d’une opposition, d’un appel, ou d’un pourvoi en cassation lorsque le pourvoi est suspensif.
