Article 529 of the French Code of civil procedure

Where several parties are jointly and severally or indivisibly liable, notification made to one of them shall cause the time limit to run only in respect of that party.

In cases where a judgment benefits several parties jointly or indivisibly, each party may rely on the notification made by one of them.

En cas de condamnation solidaire ou indivisible de plusieurs parties, la notification faite à l’une d’elles ne fait courir le délai qu’à son égard.

Dans les cas où un jugement profite solidairement ou indivisiblement à plusieurs parties, chacune peut se prévaloir de la notification faite par l’une d’elles.
