Article 530-3 of the French Code of Criminal Procedure

A decree in the Conseil d’Etat shall set the amount of fixed fines and indemnities, reduced fixed fines and increased fixed fines as well as the costs of setting up the case and shall specify the terms and conditions for the application of this chapter, in particular by determining the conditions under which the agents authorised to record offences shall be sworn and shall collect the amount of fixed fines and that of settlements.

When fixed-rate fines, reduced fixed-rate fines and increased fixed-rate fines apply to a legal person, their amount is quintupled.

Article 530-3

Un décret en Conseil d’Etat fixe le montant des amendes et indemnités forfaitaires, des amendes forfaitaires minorées et des amendes forfaitaires majorées ainsi que des frais de constitution de dossier et précise les modalités d’application du présent chapitre, en déterminant notamment les conditions dans lesquelles les agents habilités à constater les infractions sont assermentés et perçoivent le montant des amendes forfaitaires et celui des transactions.

Lorsque les amendes forfaitaires, les amendes forfaitaires minorées et les amendes forfaitaires majorées s’appliquent à une personne morale, leur montant est quintuplé.
