Article 627-18 of the French Code of Criminal Procedure

Where, pursuant to Article 103 of the Statute, the Government has agreed to receive a person sentenced by the International Criminal Court on the territory of the Republic in order for that person to serve his sentence of imprisonment there, the sentence pronounced shall be directly and immediately enforceable upon the transfer of that person to national soil, for the portion of the sentence remaining to be served.

Subject to the provisions of the statute and this section, the execution and enforcement of the sentence shall be governed by the provisions of this code, with the exception of articles 728-2 to 728-8.

Lorsque, en application de l’article 103 du statut, le Gouvernement a accepté de recevoir une personne condamnée par la Cour pénale internationale sur le territoire de la République afin que celle-ci y purge sa peine d’emprisonnement, la condamnation prononcée est directement et immédiatement exécutoire dès le transfert de cette personne sur le sol national, pour la partie de peine restant à subir.

Sous réserve des dispositions du statut et de la présente section, l’exécution et l’application de la peine sont régies par les dispositions du présent code, à l’exception des articles 728-2 à 728-8.
