Article 64 of the French Civil Code

The poster provided for in the previous article will remain affixed to the door of the common house for ten days.

The marriage may not be celebrated before the tenth day since and not including that of publication.

If posting is interrupted before the expiry of this period, this will be mentioned on the poster which will have ceased to be affixed to the door of the common house.

Article 64

L’affiche prévue à l’article précédent restera apposée à la porte de la maison commune pendant dix jours.

Le mariage ne pourra être célébré avant le dixième jour depuis et non compris celui de la publication.

Si l’affichage est interrompu avant l’expiration de ce délai, il en sera fait mention sur l’affiche qui aura cessé d’être apposée à la porte de la maison commune.
