Article 691 of the French Code of civil procedure

Notifications intended for the public prosecutor and those that must be made to the public prosecutor’s office shall be made, as the case may be, to the public prosecutor’s office of the court before which the claim is brought, to that of the court that gave judgment or to that of the last known address.

If there is no public prosecutor’s office near the court, notification shall be made to the public prosecutor’s office of the judicial court within whose jurisdiction that court has its seat.

Article 691

Les notifications destinées au ministère public et celles qui doivent être faites au parquet le sont, selon le cas, au parquet de la juridiction devant laquelle la demande est portée, à celui de la juridiction qui a statué ou à celui du dernier domicile connu.

S’il n’existe pas de parquet près la juridiction, la notification est faite au parquet du tribunal judiciaire dans le ressort duquel cette juridiction a son siège.
