The European Investigation Order shall be transmitted directly to the competent authorities of the executing State by any means which leaves a written record and establishes its authenticity.

Any other official communication shall be made directly between the instructing magistrate and the executing authority.

La décision d’enquête européenne est transmise directement aux autorités compétentes de l’Etat d’exécution par tout moyen permettant de laisser une trace écrite et d’en établir l’authenticité.

Toute autre communication officielle est effectuée directement entre le magistrat mandant et l’autorité d’exécution.
