Article 694-6 of the French Code of Criminal Procedure

When the surveillance provided for in Article 706-80 is to be prosecuted in a foreign State, it shall be authorised, under the conditions provided for by international conventions, by the public prosecutor in charge of the investigation.

Records of the execution of surveillance operations or reports relating thereto, as well as authorisation to continue their execution on the territory of a foreign State, shall be placed in the record of the proceedings.

Lorsque la surveillance prévue à l’article 706-80 doit être poursuivie dans un Etat étranger, elle est autorisée, dans les conditions prévues par les conventions internationales, par le procureur de la République chargé de l’enquête.

Les procès-verbaux d’exécution des opérations de surveillance ou rapports y afférents ainsi que l’autorisation d’en poursuivre l’exécution sur le territoire d’un Etat étranger sont versés au dossier de la procédure.
