Article 694-8 of the French Code of Criminal Procedure

With the agreement of the foreign judicial authorities, the foreign police officers referred to in the second paragraph of Article 694-7 may also, under the conditions laid down by the articles 706-81 to 706-87, participate under the direction of French judicial police officers in undercover operations conducted on the territory of the Republic as part of national judicial proceedings.

Avec l’accord des autorités judiciaires étrangères, les agents de police étrangers mentionnés au deuxième alinéa de l’article 694-7 peuvent également, dans les conditions fixées par les articles 706-81 à 706-87, participer sous la direction d’officiers de police judiciaire français à des opérations d’infiltration conduites sur le territoire de la République dans le cadre d’une procédure judiciaire nationale.
