If the public prosecutor is informed by the judicial authority of the executing Member State of a request from the arrested person for the appointment of a lawyer on national territory, he shall provide that person with the relevant information enabling him to choose a lawyer or, at the person’s request, have a lawyer appointed ex officio by the President of the Bar.

Si le ministère public est informé par l’autorité judiciaire de l’Etat membre d’exécution d’une demande de la personne arrêtée tendant à la désignation d’un avocat sur le territoire national, il transmet à cette personne les informations utiles lui permettant de faire le choix d’un avocat ou, à la demande de la personne, fait procéder à la désignation d’office d’un avocat par le bâtonnier.
