Article 695-54 of the French Code of Criminal Procedure

The transit of a person who has French nationality or who had this nationality at the time of the acts covered by the arrest warrant issued by a State that is not a member of the European Union shall be refused. The last two paragraphs of Article 695-47 do not apply to surrender procedures resulting from agreements concluded by the European Union with other States.

Le transit d’une personne qui a la nationalité française ou qui avait cette nationalité au moment des faits visés par le mandat d’arrêt émis par un Etat non membre de l’Union européenne est refusé. Les deux derniers alinéas de l’article 695-47 ne sont pas applicables aux procédures de remise résultant d’accords conclus par l’Union européenne avec d’autres Etats.
