Article 706-106-2 of the French Code of Criminal Procedure

Within this or these judicial court or courts, the public prosecutor and the first president, after consulting the public prosecutor and the president of the judicial court, shall respectively designate one or more public prosecutors and investigating judges with special responsibility for the investigation, prosecution and investigation of offences falling within the scope of Article 706-106-1.

Designated public prosecutors and investigating judges, as well as the public prosecutor at the competent court of appeal, may ask specialised assistants, appointed under the conditions set out in article 706, to take part, in accordance with the procedures set out in the same article 706, in proceedings concerning crimes and offences falling within the scope of article 706-106-1.

Au sein de ce ou ces tribunaux judiciaires, le procureur général et le premier président, après avis du procureur de la République et du président du tribunal judiciaire, désignent respectivement un ou plusieurs magistrats du parquet et juges d’instruction chargés spécialement de l’enquête, de la poursuite et de l’instruction des infractions entrant dans le champ d’application de l’article 706-106-1.


Les magistrats du parquet et juges d’instruction désignés ainsi que le procureur général près la cour d’appel compétente peuvent demander à des assistants spécialisés, désignés dans les conditions prévues à l’article 706, de participer, selon les modalités prévues au même article 706, aux procédures concernant les crimes et délits entrant dans le champ d’application de l’article 706-106-1.
