When the judge makes the preliminary conciliation attempt himself, the court registry notifies the claimant by any means of the place, day and time at which the conciliation hearing will take place.
The defendant is summoned by simple letter. The summons mentions the surname, first names, profession and address of the claimant as well as the subject of the claim.
The notice and the summons specify that each party may be assisted by one of the persons listed in Article 762.
