Article 916-37 of the French Cinema and Moving Image Code

The amount of selective grants awarded during 2020 in application of 1° and 2° of article 611-22 is subject to an increase when they have been awarded for the edition or re-edition of cinematographic or audiovisual works in the form of videograms intended for private public use, the marketing of which has been initiated or is planned for a date after 31 January 2020.
The amount of the increase for each work is set by applying an increase rate determined according to the number of eligible works and the appropriations allocated to the aid concerned, up to a maximum of 25% of the initial aid.
In order to receive the increase, the videogram publisher must send an electronic application to the Centre national du cinéma et de l’image animée by 31 December 2020 at the latest.

Le montant des aides sélectives attribuées au cours de l’année 2020 en application des 1° et 2° de l’article 611-22 fait l’objet d’une majoration lorsqu’elles ont été attribuées pour l’édition ou la réédition d’œuvres cinématographiques ou audiovisuelles sous forme de vidéogrammes destinés à l’usage privé du public, dont la commercialisation a été initiée ou est prévue à une date postérieure au 31 janvier 2020.
Le montant de la majoration pour chaque œuvre est fixé par application d’un taux de majoration déterminé en fonction du nombre d’œuvres éligibles et des crédits affectés aux aides concernées, dans la limite de 25 % de l’aide initiale.
Pour l’attribution de la majoration, l’éditeur de vidéogrammes transmet, au plus tard le 31 décembre 2020, une demande par voie électronique au Centre national du cinéma et de l’image animée.
