Article 956 of the French Code of civil procedure

In all cases of urgency, the first president may order in summary proceedings, in the event of an appeal, all measures that do not come up against any serious challenge or that are justified by the existence of a dispute.

Dans tous les cas d’urgence, le premier président peut ordonner en référé, en cas d’appel, toutes les mesures qui ne se heurtent à aucune contestation sérieuse ou que justifie l’existence d’un différend.
