Article A811-29 of the French Commercial code

I.-The examination referred to in article R. 811-28-5 consists of an oral test held in public session.

For the commercial speciality, the oral test covers employment law and tax law as applied to insolvency proceedings and the application of European law to national insolvency proceedings.

The oral test for the civil law speciality covers co-ownership law, inheritance law, matrimonial property law, the law governing associations and foundations, and the law governing incapacity.

II.-The oral test consists of a twenty-minute presentation, after one hour’s preparation, on a subject chosen at random by the candidate.

This presentation is followed by a thirty-minute interview with the jury on the candidate’s experience.

I.-L’examen mentionné à l’article R. 811-28-5 consiste en une épreuve orale qui se déroule en séance publique.

Pour la spécialité commerciale, l’épreuve orale porte sur le droit social et le droit fiscal appliqués aux procédures collectives et sur l’application du droit européen aux procédures collectives nationales.

Pour la spécialité civile, elle porte sur le droit de la copropriété, le droit des successions, le droit des régimes matrimoniaux, le droit des associations et fondations et le droit des incapacités.

II.-L’épreuve orale comprend un exposé de vingt minutes, après une préparation d’une heure, sur un sujet tiré au sort par le candidat.

Cet exposé est suivi d’un entretien avec le jury d’une durée de trente minutes portant sur l’expérience du candidat.
