1° All official documents proving their identity and nationality;
2° All proof of the diplomas, certificates or titles they hold;
3° All proof enabling the content and level of post-secondary studies successfully completed to be assessed.
Applicants wishing to benefit from the provisions of 3° of Article R. 822-2 shall send to the Minister of Justice, Keeper of the Seals, by 30 April at the latest, a file in duplicate comprising:
1° All official documents proving their identity and nationality;
2° All proof of the diplomas, certificates or degrees they hold;
3° All proof making it possible to assess the content and level of post-secondary studies successfully completed.
Applicants under the provisions of the first paragraph of Article R. 822-5 provide the Keeper of the Seals, Minister of Justice, by 30 April at the latest, with a file in duplicate comprising:
1° All official documents proving their identity and nationality;
2° All documentary evidence establishing that they have exercised a public or private activity for at least fifteen years which has enabled them to acquire sufficient experience in the financial, accounting and legal fields relevant to commercial companies.
The documents produced shall be accompanied, where applicable, by a translation into French by a translator approved by the French courts or authorised to act before the judicial or administrative authorities of a Member State of the European Union or party to the Agreement on the European Economic Area.
On receipt of the complete application, a receipt will be issued. Candidates are admitted to take the preparatory certificate for the duties of statutory auditor or the certificate of aptitude for the duties of statutory auditor, depending on the case, by reasoned decision of the Minister of Justice. This decision must be taken within two months of the date of issue of the receipt. Failure to respond within this period will be deemed to constitute rejection of the application.
